External Control over the Bar (by insurers and legislators)

A post by Prof. Alan Childress at the Legal Profession Blog makes reference to an interesting article by Professor James M. Fisher on regulation of the legal profession by insurers and legislators.  The full article can be found at External Control over the American Bar.The article was first published in 19 Getimage_2 Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, winter 2006.   I downloaded it from here. The picture is of Professor Fisher and comes from Prof. Childress’ post.  I’m not sure how Prof. Fisher’s picture ended up here.  I must have copied when I copied the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics cite.  Good picture for a law professor don’t you think?
