One Of Us Is Sentenced To Prison

Yesterday, standing before Federal District Court Judge Christopher Droney in Hartford, Robert D. Graham, a Connecticut licensed attorney, was sentenced to twelve months and one day in prison followed by two years of supervised release.  Graham was also ordered to pay a $100,000 fine and $1,600 in costs.  For a professional account of the sentencing hearing see  Gen Re’s Graham Gets 12 Months for AIG Investor Fraud (Update2) by Jane Mills and David Voreacos of Bloomberg.com.

As time permits, I will post a series of brief reflections about the Graham sentencing, beginning with an explanation of the title of this post.
