The interesting question is why would an experienced trial lawyer repeatedly engage in professional misonduct leading to significant monetary sanctions?  Is it possible that in her mind and perhaps in her firm’s and in her client’s minds the ends justify the means?  One hopes not.  What is the rationale for repeating such conduct?
