What happens when a lawyer makes a bundle by violating fundamental ethical obligations?

My opinion: disbarment with a conditional privilege to reapply would have been an appropriate discipline.

McCray participated in a credit repair mill. In the process he acted nothing at all like a lawyer except to advertise. He used his law license to lure vulnerable clients into his money-making, fraudulent credit repair scheme.  McCray should have been voted off the island.
